In all recent discussions about the global warming, the topic often ends up with the question what one should do to avoid it. While the reversing the process remains under scientific debate, we could at least help to stop the progress of the warming.
All reformations start from home.
Home energy accounts for a significant contribution to the global warming. Even a small change in our life style will go a long way to help mittigate the global warming and most significantly pollutions generated by burning of coal to generate electricity. For example, often people keep lights on in places that are not used. TV is kept swithced on while no one is watching. And the refrigerator could be switched off when the whole family goes on a long vacation.
Oout of home, we could help reduce the fossil fuel (like petrol and diesel) usages by car pooling and avoiding business trips that could be manged over the phone or video conference.
Use as much green technologies in our daily life to reduce energy consumtions.
